Emissions
We’ve been on an exciting journey of innovation and dynamic product development as emission standards have become more stringent over the years.
Learn moreDuring your diesel engine’s combustion process, particulate matter (PM) forms. Our diesel particulate filter (DPF) solutions capture a high percentage of PM or soot. Adding a DPF not only reduces the amount of PM released into the atmosphere, it can also help lower your fuel consumption, improve performance and minimise operating costs.
Particulate matter (PM) formed during combustion is captured in the DPF during engine operation. The DPF is regenerated, eliminating PM or soot that has been trapped through oxidation reactions, either passively or actively. Perkins has wall flow and flow through options available.
Our DPF solution, for off-highway applications, is available on models in the 854 and 1200 Series.
